gimme! coffee donates back
to TGHA for every order placed. High quality local coffee makes great gifts
to local people and those who live elsewhere (it ships easily!), or use it
when entertaining or for your daily brew at home or office!
Tournament News
Below is an updated list of slots needing volunteers during the upcoming
Ithaca Shooting Stars Invitational Tournament, Dec. 5-7. RSVP to Tournament

This is a great time to learn to run the clock and complete scoresheets,
and help TGHA host 21 other teams in this annual huge undertaking (that
brings great girls hockey to town and raises funds to run the association). On
Sun. 11/30 Wayde Whittaker can demonstrate the RINK clock and scoresheet role
during the 12U girls game at 1:15, and Brad Grainger can show the Cass Park
clock and scoresheet role during the 19U game at 12:45. Brad will also meet
people at Cass Park on Wed at 6:30 p.m. (please rsvp if this is when you are
available to learn these jobs that are part of every official game played by
our girls teams, contact Mary at this email or 280-4380 by 5:15 p.m. on Wed.

Why TBA?
In our tournament format, the third game is played against a team with a
similar record....so teams that have lost their first two play each other for
the 'consolation' game while those with one or two wins 'crossover' to play each
other in games that determine who plays in the 'championship' game.

Free Admission to Ithaca High Girls Varsity
Ithaca High School's Girls Varsity Ice Hockey opens this week with three
contests. There is no admission to be collected at Monday's scrimmage or
Friday's afternoon game. TGHA members are invited to Thursday's game free of
charge...in thanks for TGHA's flexibility adjusting this week's practice schedule.
