Fundraising
Co-chairs Barbara Horton and Liz Wood have mailed sponsorship letters to many businesses in the community. If sponsors would
like to advertise in the tournament program, we need to contact them at this
time. However, we can mail more letters to new contacts now or later in
the season. Read on especially if you know of a potential tournament
advertiser. THANKS
Greetings
from TGHA Fundraising Committee,
Our 36th season of girls hockey is here... HOORAY!!! We are excited your
daughter will be participating in our excellent programs. From our newest
skaters to our role modeling Shooting Stars seniors, a lot will happen this
2008-09 hockey season. Remarkable on & off ice events will transpire during
our chilly winter months... Cub Club, Shooting Stars Tournament, CU Women's
Games, Cross Ice Games, Away Games, Locker Room Banter, Fast Friendships,
Lifetime Bonds... you'll be amazed what Ice Hockey brings into your life!
Welcome.
While your enthusiasm for TGHA is what makes our organization great, there are
some other pieces that make it all happen. Fundraising is a fun and association
wide effort. Our annual gimme! coffee
sales are always well received and contribute greatly to TGHA. Every pound sold
supports our programs. We also reach out to the community through our direct
appeal campaign. The support garnered through sponsorship and tournament
program ad sales contribute significantly to our association. If you know of an
individual or business who would consider advertising with/donating to TGHA,
please use the attached letter and return card to solicit their support. The
forms can also be found on our website, www.ithacagirlshock
We hope your family has a great season and you are able to support our
association!
Thank you,
2008-09 TGHA Fundraising Committee
