Hockeyfest is Sunday!

Hockey fans can get their fix this weekend when the Cornell men's and women's ice hockey teams will combine for HockeyFest on Sunday, October 21.

The day includes off-ice activities in the Ramin Room at Bartels Hall to go along with the women's contest against Vermont at 1 p.m. and the men's game against Ottawa after the women's game.

The day begins with off-ice activities taking place in the Ramin Room starting at 10 a.m. Fans will be able to have items signed by the women's team at 10:30 a.m., and will have a chance to have their slap shot measured by a radar gun. Other activities include a stick-handling obstacle course and a shooting accuracy contest.

All off-ice activities in the Ramin Room are free and open to the public. Fans can then attend the men's and women's games that afternoon for a price of $20, which includes admission to both games. Special t-shirt packages are also available.

TGHA's Cub Club Chair Wayde Whittaker has been involved with the event planning, and he welcomes any TGHA parent, coach or player who wants to assist in the Ramin Room...or come for fun!  Stop in Lynah and see the Ithaca Shooting Stars 14U game that starts right before Hockeyfest begins!
