New Group on FaceBook:  “Top 10 Reasons to Play Girls Hockey in Ithaca

Special notice to all our hockey players who are fans of FaceBook:  next time you’re on the site, check out the new group “Top 10 Reasons to Play Girls Hockey in Ithaca”.  See which of the top 10 reasons are true for you, and add YOUR reasons for playing hockey.  Be sure to let your friends know about the group, so they can add their ideas.  Note, too, that Reason #10 says that TGHA is offering Girls Recreation Hockey on Thursday nights at Cass Park (6:45-7:45 p.m.)  – so if you know anyone in middle school or high school who knows how to play hockey and is too busy with other sports/drama/music/clubs/work/insert-other-activity-here to play more than once a week, let them know about Girls Rec Hockey.  Better yet - bring them along to Open House (October 29, 6:30 p.m.) to register!

Help TGHA Connect with Sponsors

TGHA's Fundraising Chair Barbara Horton has begun mailing letters to past sponsors of TGHA and to prospective sponsors.  Attached is a copy of the letter and the response card if you would like to give it to anyone you think would like to be supportive.  Let Barbara know of any contact you make or let her know if you would like to be helpful with this type of fundraising for TGHA.  There are many more opportunities to help!
