Board Meeting
WANTED: Parent Volunteers
Women's Hockey to Watch
Attention Coaches
Board Meeting
Tuesday,
May 13
7:00 p.m.
WANTED: Parent Helpers
TGHA is
run by volunteers (parents and non-parents welcome) who serve as board members,
committee chairs, coaches, managers, committee members, off ice officials for
games, etc. Each late spring the board reorganizes and begins the planning for
the next season of girls hockey.
There is
a need for 4-5 new board members on the 11 member board. After they are elected, they will figure out
how to divide up the roles needed to facilitate all aspects of TGHA. These
roles include, but are not limited to, management of House and Travel programs,
coordination of coaches, scheduling of ice use, tournament coordination,
recruitment of new members, internal communications (bulletin boards,
newsletters), events for current members, record-keeping for membership and for
financial transactions, adult education, clothing orders, fundraising.
That's a
long list and doesn't include that the leadership has fun working
together...and they feel good about cooperating to offer great programs for the
girls.
Would you
like to be one of the newest board members? Are you interested in filling one
of the roles without being on the board?
Do you have questions or ideas about how TGHA runs? Please send messages to TGHA0708@yahoo.com or
contact Mary at 257-3268.
