USA U18 Win Gold

Hockey Weekend Across America

While on the www.usahockey.com home page, click on Hockey Weekend Across America to sign up if you want a chance to win prizes. Also stay tuned for more info on how we'll celebrate locally.

IHS Girls on www

When the Ithaca High Girls Varsity team was in Potsdam Saturday, a photographer and three broadcasters from www.northcountrysports.net were on hand.  Visit the site to listen to the audiocast of the 1-0 loss.  Also click on the Photo Gallery to see images of the game.  (FYI Carrie Wilder wears yellow gloves and a red helmet and Jackie Cornell has yellow helmet...sometimes the captions have them mixed up!)

Photos on Thursday

Lifetouch Photography will be at Cass Park on Thursday Jan. 17 to photograph individuals and groups of players who were not photographed in November.

The photographer will be ready at 5:00 to take individual shots of Initiation and House girls off ice, and then will take a group photo of the Thursday Initiation and House groups on ice during practice.

The photographer will also take shots of the Recreation girls off ice at 6:30 and on ice at 6:45.  If you skate on Mondays but missed having a photo taken, you are welcome to skate this particular Thursday.

Order forms will be available on Thursday, but could also be sent by email if you ask Mary at mmgithaca@aol.com.

PBN Thanks

On January 3, Lily and Jessica, two local Girl Scouts, were the first local girls to receive the Put the Biscuit in the Net  patch for participating in three sessions hosted by TGHA.  Special thanks to Matt Ulinski who served as the leader for the PBN on ice sessions, and to Becky, Diane and Barbara who assisted sometimes, and to the 13U girls who came to the final session to add to the fun for Lily and Jessica.  Photos will soon appear on our web site: www.ithacagirlshockey.com
