*Older girls and adult women who want to "walk on" to skate on Mondays with Recreation, 8:45-10:00 p.m., pay $10 per session. No need to rsvp, just come ready to skate!

The 16U and 19U Shooting Stars will be among 225 other girls hockey teams playing in the annual CT Polar Bears Holiday Tournament.  Follow the tournament at www.ctpolarbears.com and this Update will report on their games as well as announce the games Jan. 3-4, etc.

Encourage Beginners
Our half season half price Initiation program begins Jan. 5.  Information has been sent out through elementary school gym teachers and through the rinks and the media.  However, "word of mouth" is always the best publicity!  Tell your friends, relatives, neighbors about the great sport of girls ice hockey and the chance to Try Girls Hockey this winter!  The web site has all the information they need or they can contact the TGHA Registrars 277-0614 or wetz4ny@aol.com.

The last 200 bags of coffee are ready for pickup!

Robin Zifchock has the coffee ordered by the 20 members who ordered by 12/1.  She will be at her son's practice tonight Wednesday from 7:45-9:00 at The RINK, and her daughter's Thursday from 7:45-9:15 Cass Park.  Please pick up your coffee from her at one of those two times or ask someone else to get it for you if you cannot.

However, the weather tonight may require Robin to stay home and not go to The RINK.  If that happens, she will let Mary Grainger know to send another email out with an update.  If you cannot access email tonight or you are unsure about the roads, you can call Mary for an update (257-3268 or cell 280-4380).
