Board Meets Tonight

The TGHA Board meets Wed. Dec. 15 at 7:00 p.m. at The RINK. All are welcome to attend, and there is a "Public Comment" time at the beginning of the agenda.  The agenda includes reports from the Registrar, Treasurer, VP Communications, Silver Stick Committee, Cub Club, Coaches, Ice Scheduler, Sponsorship, and Fund Raising.  Questions? The first round of TGHA Clothing has arrived! 

I have gone through the clothing, matched it up to the orders, bagged each order up and put together each teams orders.  There are a few things I'd like folks to know:

I plan to attend this Thursday's 12U practice at Cass (6:15-7:30), so if folks want to pick up their clothing, see me then. 

Some parents have indicated that their orders are gifts, so if you prefer to arrange for a pick up at a different time, please let me know.
 
Some teams may prefer to have their team manager or clothing volunteer distribute the clothing, please have the manager contact me via email at sph1@cornell.edu so I can arrange for the whole team order to be picked up.

I have to add that the inevitable small number of "oopsies" happened with the order; for those of you whose order was affected, I will follow up with you individually.
 
I will be putting together another order after the beginning of the new year, so if you see anything on another player that you would like to purchase, I will be at practices the first full week of January with order forms!  Thanks, all...

Help Recruit New Skaters
 
TGHA has always been flexible with new skaters beginning at their own schedule...and this year it was formalized by offering Initiation in several ways...full time (twice a week for the entire season), half time (once a week for the entire season), half-season (twice a week for half season), or half-time half season(once a week for half season)!!

Since we are reaching the mid-point of the season, it's time to publicize half-season TGHA Initiation.  I am seeking elementary school TGHA members to go to after school skating at Cass with fliers to give to girls their age, and some TGHA members of any age to give fliers to girls at The RINK's Learn to Skate this Sunday afternoon.  I can also use help with distributing fliers/posters to other groups that serve girls of elementary age.  Please let me know by email or phone (see below).  Mary Grainger
