Skate Sharpening Benefit

Phil Ambis of Ambis Industries has made a generous offer as his way of supporting TGHA!  If you take TGHA players' skates to Phil for sharpening and identify yourself as part of TGHA (he has a list in his shop), he will give TGHA $2.00 of every $7.00 sharpening fee he charges.  Ambis Industries is on
Willow Avenue on the other side of the railroad tracks from Rt. 13 heading to the public golf course.  Park in The Haunt's parking lot near the fence door near the door of his shop.  Phil builds skate sharpening equipment as well as sharpens individual's skates. Please be respectful of his generosity to donate only when sharpening the girls' skates this season. Thanks Phil!

Editor Needed

Is there a parent volunteer who is good at editing digital photos? We have some available from the tournament and will be taking more all season.  An editor is needed to help put them in formats that can be used to recruit new hockey players and to celebrate the season, etc.  Let Carol Mullins or Mary Grainger know if you could work on this in 2006.

Cub Club Message

Hello Cubbies,

Thanks to everyone who donned a raincoat and came to last week’s Pairing Ceremony. We had a wonderful turnout and I hope all of you had fun meeting your Big Sisters. While we have no official functions this month you should feel free to get together with your Big Sister or just call to say hello as they are studying for exams and taking a few days off for the holidays.

The Cornell Team returns to Lynah Rink on Friday, December 30th for a pair of games against
Bemidji State. I hope to see all of you there.

Our next organized event is Bowling Night! It will be held on
January 3, 2006 at the Helen Newman lanes on North Campus. The time is 6-8 PM. No hockey gear required.

Enjoy your holidays!

David
