Silver Stick Schedule Change

The Ithaca High Girls Varsity Game vs. Canton scheduled for Sat 12/4 at 12:15 p.m. at Cass has been postponed.  This allowed TGHA to use our regular 12:45 p.m. ice slot for one of the Silver Stick games...and the best news is that Saturday morning games now start one hour earlier (7:00 at The RINK) and end a half hour later (last game at 9:30 at The RINK)!

However, it does mean that everyone who is playing or volunteering on Saturday needs to adjust their plans (but hopefully for the better!).  Below are the Ithaca game times, a subset of the tournament schedule. 

Come out and cheer for the three squads playing this weekend!

In addition to the tournament games, the 19U Shooting Stars will face the Camillus 19Us at Cass Park on Sunday 12/5 at 12:30 p.m.

Volunteers Needed!!!

We are in need of a few more hands to help this weekend.  We have 32 local games and each games needs 5 volunteers.  We have filled may slots but have many more to fill.  While this tournament showcases our travel teams, the tournament benefits the entire association.  I am asking everyone to help, we will make sure that everyone knows what they are doing so if you have never keep score or run the clock we can train you. Please call me, email me or see me at Cass Park on Thursday.  An updated excel file will be there and will go out later today so you can see the times help is needed.

We also will need help to decorate Thursday evening at 9:00 p.m.

Photo Day Coming

Thursday Dec. 9 will be "Photo Day" where girls can get their picture taken individually and with their team.  Order forms will be available next Monday and Tuesday.  New girls in Initiation and House, we will make sure there are some jerseys you can wear that evening. 

TGHA Gimme!coffee fundraiser

The Gimme! fundraising is well under way.  We sold 130 pounds of coffee during the first round of ordering.   The next round of orders will be due by Dec 7th, with delivery on the 13th.

Share the Warmth

When at The RINK between 11/15 and 12/5, consider contributing warm winter clothing and blankets for the 12th Annual Share the Warmth drive organized by the Ithaca Area Rotary clubs and sponsored by Cornell, Ithaca College, Trumansburg Rotary, and the Samaritan Center of Catholic Charities.  There is a large container in The RINK lobby for this purpose.
