Announcements from the Board Meeting
At the most recent board meeting, there were many things discussed related
to offering the best possible program for all of the girls interested in ice
hockey!
* The board voted to change the 12U Shooting Stars girls travel team to 13U
instead of 12U in order to accommodate several 13 year olds who were interested
in participating this year. They will play 12U at the upcoming home tournament,
and will play a variety of opponents this season.
*Next Gimme! coffee order time is coming up: deadline December 5.
Delivery of coffee ordered this week will be Monday/Tuesday before Thanksgiving.
* Next Board Meeting is Wed. Jan. 3 at 7:00 p.m. at the Cayuga Heights
Fire Station.
* Parent Education offerings especially for Initation and House parents
are set for Monday Dec. 4 at 6:30 p.m. at The RINK, and Thursday Dec. 7 at 5:30
p.m. at Cass Park with Coach Carol.
* If parents who know how to skate are interested in becoming educated as a
hockey coach, there are trainings for Level 1 and Level 2 in Binghamton on
Dec. 16 RSVP to kmoore3@stny.rr.com.
Former girls players who are over 18 are also eligible for Coaching Education.
