Help Needed for Learn to Play
On Saturday September 9, about 100 girls and boys are expected to participate
in the first of six Learn to Play Hockey sessions that have been
published in past TGHA-All newsletters. They are on the ice from 11-12,
and TGHA and IYHA as well as the Community Recreation Center staff will be
greeting them, helping them with equipment, helping them on the ice, and
answering questions from their parents.
We are seeking some girls and TGHA coaches to come on the ice as helpers and
some adults to assist off ice. On ice helpers need to wear a helmet,

Equipment to Donate? Return?
TGHA maintains a supply of used equipment to loan to our newest players each
year to help them get started with playing ice hockey. As we embark on a
new season, please look in your closets and garages. Do you have used equipment
that TGHA loaned you that you can now return for someone else to borrow?
Do you have your own equipment that now longer fits properly that you can
donate for newcomers to borrow this year? Either way, please contact Matt
Ulinski at mu25@cornell.edu,
257-5600. You can also bring the equipment to The RINK this Saturday if you
come to Registration. Thanks!
