Youth entering grades 4 through 8 may register for the 9:00 a.m. – 1 p.m. program. Youth will engage the fundamentals of a different sport each day, including football, volleyball, soccer, hockey, basketball and lacrosse. Physical and spiritual well-being topics will include wellness, nutrition, conditioning, injuries, breathing, meditation and reflection from a wide range of health fields and religious traditions. The camp fosters the ability of participants to tackle work as team members at home and at school. We include family recreation activities, such as bocce, badminton and croquet. Daily themes include: positive thinking, respect, fellowship and fun; feeling good and helping others; sharing success and failure (winning and losing) on the field of life; being a leader and a team player. Coaches, health professionals and athletes from local colleges, who understand the value of a well-rounded balance of activities for youth, will be guest leaders. ? This is a public service offering of NEIGHBORS @ First Congregational Church located at 309 Highland Road, Ithaca, near Cornell. Open to all persons, those of any religious faith or none at all, to share the hospitality of our religious community. Fees: Participants are asked to make a donation rather than pay a registration fee. Contact: Eric Clay, (607) 257-6033,
