TGHA Board Seeking Volunteers
Nominations for the 2006-07 TGHA Board are being sought. We are a volunteer
group of 11 people who oversee all administrative aspects of our exceptional girls hockey program. Members serve a two-year term, attend
monthly meetings, and collectively manage the many details of our organization.
We are looking for dedicated people with a love of ice hockey who can bring
pertinent organizational skills and enthusiasm to our board. Interested
individuals are encouraged to contact nominating chair, Barbara Horton at homesweethome@fltg.net
or by phone 387-4244 with your intent or questions you may have. Nominations
will be voted on at our next meeting on Wednesday June 14 at
Board members and other TGHA parents who wish to volunteer without being on the
board divide up the management tasks including the roles of president, travel
team coordination, initiation/house team coordination, communications,
secretary, treasurer, ice time scheduling, coach coordination, tournament
organization, fund raising, adult education, registration, newcomers,
scholarships, Cub Club, and social events, as well as team coordination jobs.
I appreciate your feedback on this important matter.
Thanks,
Barbara Horton
