Do you have TGHA Equipment to Return 
Lisa McCutcheon is the new Equipment Loan Manager with her husband Coach Rich.  If you have equipment to return, consider handing it in on Thursday March 11, the last TGHA practice of the season.  The other easy way to return it is at the Banquet.  Questions  Julie Eisenhut is about to transfer it to Lisa, lmccutch@twcny.rr.com.  Thanks Julie and Tony for handling this big job for so many years!!

If you didn't catch enough women's college hockey this season....

Please pass the word that the ECAC 2004 Championship tournament is being held at Union March 20-21.  Tickets can be ordered by calling the Union Ticket Office at 518-388-6134. In addition there is a free girls hockey clinic similar to ones held in New England when the ECACs were held there in recent years!

The ECAC and the National Youth Sports Corporation(NYSC) invite you and your friends to join us Sunday March 21st, 2004 for the Youth Education through Sports (YES) girls’ ice hockey clinic at Union College’s Messa Rink at Achilles Center.  ECAC student-athletes and coaches share tips and skills to teach young girls’ ice hockey players about the importance of education and sports through an exciting; clinic.  This hands-on experience comes to you at  no cost! Get registered today for this NCAA “YES” clinic.

What: NCAA “YES” Clinic
Where: Messa Rink,Union  College,Schenectady NY
When: Sunday, March 21st, 2004

On-Ice: 8-9:15am, Off-Ice: 9:30-10:30am
Why:To help girls learn the importance of education through sports along with great ice hockey instruction.

Registration              The application should be filled out and returned       by Friday March 12th, 2004. There must be a  parent/guardian signature on the application to participate. Full hockey equipment is required.  Registration is limited to the first 60 applicants.             Selections will be   made on a first-come, first-serve basis. A confirmation letter or e-mail will follow  to ensure registration.

The Eastern College Athletic Conference Women’s ice hockey is one of the fastest growing sports in theUnited States and the Eastern College Athletic Conference(ECAC)has played the role of both a leader and pioneer during the twodecades that it has been involved with the game. Home to the premier Division I league in the nation, the ECACboasts a history that gleams with accomplishments. From individualhonors to contributions on the international stage, the ECAC andits players and coaches have set a high standard of excellence in the game. At the Division I level, ECAC players have 29 timesachieved All-America honors, won 25 Olympic Gold Medals andhave won the Patty Kazmaier Award all five years it has existedas a designation of the nation’s top player. Membership in the ECAC’s leagues has changed to meet theneeds of he exploding collegiate sport as 22 teams have calledthe ECAC home since the first championship was contested in1984. The conference’s current roster of teams includes some of the most storied programs in the nation: Brown, Colgate,Cornell, Dartmouth, Harvard, Princeton, St. Lawrence, Union,Vermont and Yale.     

 Directions to Messa Rink at Achilles Center on the campusof Union College:  Take Route 890 to the Erie Boulevard exit. As you passthe General Electric plant follow Erie Boulevard underthe Rt. 890 overpass. At your fourth traffic light(the oneyou see after passing the Grossman’s Discount Outlet) youwill make a right on Nott St. Continue up Nott Street and make a right onto the campus. (Fleet Bank is across   the street from this entrance). Bear left as you enter the campus.The first building on the left is the fieldhouse and the secondbuilding on the left is Messa Rink
