"Give It Your Best Shot" was scheduled for December but moved to
this Friday's Cornell Men's Hockey Game vs. St. Lawrence
TGHA and IYHA Benefit from Fun Fund Raiser!
The purpose of this event is to increase fan participation,
class spirit, and serve as a means of giving back to the local
community and loyal fans. Fans will purchase raffle tickets for a
chance to compete for a $10,000 hockey shot. Fans in attendance
can purchase raffle tickets at $2 each or seven chances for $10. A
$4 donation will earn each fan a complimentary Lynah Faithful foam
hockey stick and 2003-04 Cornell Hockey foam puck in appreciation
of his/her support. All raffle tickets will be organized into
five jars: 1) Class of 2004, 2) Class of 2005, 3) Class of 2006,
4) Class of 2007, and 5) Greater Cornell Community. A contestant
will be drawn from each constituency. All five participants will
battle it out during the first intermission in a Cornell Hockey
trivia contest. Fans are encouraged to show their spirit and
support their constituency. The top two winners will return to
the ice during the second intermission to face off in the final
round. Each participant will shoot on a target in the net for the
$10,000 prize from center ice.
Youth hockey players and representatives from each respective
league will enter the ice following the hockey shootout for a
presentation of donations with Class of 2005 representatives. All
profits raised from the fundraiser will be donated to the Ithaca
Youth Hockey Association and Tompkins Girls Hockey Association.
This event is sponsored by the Class of 2005 Council and Athletic

off" that "commitment" this year. If you sold enough coffee, you
can get part or all of the $75 paid back to you now. Contact Robin
Zifchock to activate this payment to you, rjz5@cornell.edu. If you
do not wish to be refunded, you are making a contribution to TGHA
and you can receive a "tax receipt" of your gift since we are a
non profit, tax deductible organization. Contact Kim Hamel for a
receipt, khamel@twcny.rr.com.
The Megan Shull Award Nomination Form – 2003-04 Season
