November 8, 2008 Game Report

 Ithaca 19Us Go 1-1-1

Last weekend the Ithaca 19U Shooting Stars went 1-1-1 with two games against the Troy Albany Ice Cats 16U Tier 1 team and one vs. the local women's team, the Ithaca Sirens.

Ithaca 19U tied the Troy team 1-1, but in a rematch the same day lost 0-5. Sarah Eisenhut stopped 24 shots in each contest.  Lauren Cole scored the one goal unassisted.

Against the Sirens, Ithaca 19U scored four goals and allowed two.  Shooting Stars alumna Torrey Dennis Jacobs had a part in both Sirens goals.  Cole scored twice for the 19Us.  Carrie Wilder and Krystalyn Yonkin each notched one.  Assists were awarded to Gabe Klick and Hannah Golay.
