Ithaca 13U and 14U Play Feb. 2-3

During the Feb. 2-3 weekend, the Ithaca 13U Shooting Stars girls hockey team travelled to the Glens Falls area and the 14U team played closer to home.

The 13Us faced the Adirondack Northstars twice and were shut out 10-0 and 5-0. Sophia Hunt stopped 23 shots in the first game and Alex Stagliano stopped 22 in the second. They were also defeated 6-1 by the Clifton Park Eagles with Camille Rogers scoring the lone goal assisted by Grace Ulinski. Hunt made 14 saves in this game.

The 14U Shooting Stars faced the Binghamton Blizzard 16Us finishing with a 0-0 tie score. Angela Everhart made 12 saves while the Ithaca girls put 21 shots on the Blizzard goalie. They defeated the Skaneateles Lakers 16U, 1-0 with Serena Mendola scoring unassisted. Ali Pace made 19 saves opposite 28 shots by her teammates on the opponent.
